Aquatic Macroinvertebrate Monitoring

The knowledge and experience acquired over 30 years in aquatic monitoring programs have enabled us to build a comprehensive reference collection

We have the capabilities for monitoring a variety of habitats, including rivers, wetlands and lakes, and a wide range of impacts, including urban runoff, sewage effluent, river regulation, mining, power generation and catchment change

We will liaise with the relevant statutory authorities to ensure that our monitoring program designs comply with SEPP, regulatory and other legislative requirements

We utilise a broad range of statistical software and predictive modelling tools to provide meaningful information from biological data. Our Geographical Information Software (GIS) expertise is then used to produce the most appropriate graphical presentation
aquatic macroinvertebrate monitoring

Our expertise includes:
  • Macroinvertabrate sampling, analysis and reporting under protocol
  • Aquatic and riparian vegetation surveys
